We rotate displays so that we have at least one new collection or art show every other month. The displays in these exhibits stay up for approximately three months. If you or an organization you are involved with is interested in exhibiting in one of these areas, please contact us.

Community

Community Curator

Local community members, organizations, societies, and various groups get a chance to showcase their history and work. Past exhibits include Putnam County Humane Society, 4-H, and Boys Scouts.

Families

Founding Families

The exhibit displays artifacts of a local family's history in Putnam County, including family stories, photographs and the family’s contributions to the county.

Currently the Museum is honoring the Clodfelter family, whose members have been community leaders dating back to the 1830s. Our exhibit includes Clodfelter Pioneer Days, compiled by Hubert Clodfelter and Malcolm Romine, edited by Paul Clodfelter. The book is “a collection of true stories and events about the descendants of Solomon Clodfelter,” covering the family history from 1830 through 1940.
