All of the Museum's work is supported by the generosity of our patrons. Dues and donations are the main source of the Museum's operating funds. The Museum does not receive governmental support. Thank you for helping us continue to bridge generations, connect communities, and preserve the past.

Donate

90 donors were honored at the 2014 Donor Appreciation Day celebration at the Museum.

The Operating Fund

As a 501(C)(3) non profit organization, the museum relies on memberships dues and donations. Donations in any amount are always welcome; a gift of $35 will cover the Museum's utility bills for one day, and a gift of $350 will cover all of the Museum's expenses for one day.

The Endowment

Established in 2004, the Museum's endowment, in care of the Putnam County Community Foundation, has grown steadily thanks to the generosity of our supporters. The endowment now contributes nearly 30% of the annual operating budget. Gifts to the endowment will continue to grow and to support the Museum for generations to come.
